If you like to walk, try this 30 minutue hike: Go through old pineapple field roads next to the property to a horse pasture at the ocean's edge. Climb over an old barbed-wire fence and follow the path down to a beautiful rock beach to enjoy your own private cove. Or perhaps settling down on the bluff at the edge of the Pacific cliff with a good bottle of wine would be preferable.

Golf courses abound on Maui. The majority of the well-known courses are to be found at Wailea or at Ka'anapali, about an hour away. However, there are public courses in Kahului and Pukalani. The closest course to the house is at Maui Country Club in Sprecklesville, a private club that also has tennis courts. You would need to contact them directly to arrange a visit.
Mama's Fish House romantic setting
Eating is a big pastime on Maui.
Mama's Fish House, rated the number one fish restaurant by US News and World Report, is just five miles away. It's a bit pricy but worth the experience as it offers one of the most unique setting you will ever encounter, having its own little private sandy beach cove.
Pa'ia has good restaurants aplenty.
Please make sure to enjoy Colleen's also, just along the road from where we are. They serve the best meals for your money.
